Leonardo da Vinci may be the worlds most celebrated multi-tasker. Drawing everything from human internal organs to horses in battle, designing water systems for cities. and new technologies for his times. I believe he would readily adapt to our times and accept anti-aging tech, nanotech and just tech in general.

What he’d have done with a cell phone or a laptop. There would never have been enough days to exhaust his natural curiosity and artistic channels. He was born a thousand years to soon. I know the feeling.

He is often voted as the number one human ever. When we say we stand on the shoulders of giants, Leonardo comes to mind. His achievements have stood like a statue for five-hundred years––and counting. That’s a tall shadow.

He died in 1519 at 67 years old. The legend of his death stems from his apprentice, Count Francesco Melzi. The Count is loosely quoted as saying that Leonardo died in his patron’s arms, King François 1 of France. The legend says that da Vinci’s last words were; “I have offended God and mankind because my work did not reach the quality it should have.”

I prefer to accept the legend. It’s humbling.
